It's spring, that means out side photo shoots!!!!
I was going to meet Ms. Lizzie on Easter but she woke up with a cold so we had to push the session back a week. It was perfect - the day we meet the sun was out and it was warm. I was pumped to be able to head outside for a baby shoot.
The moment I met this angel I know the pictures would be great - her coloring, her amazing brown eyes, those curls - she is evey photographers dream. And the best part, she had a cute little ring, a bracelet and family pearls on. Hello, how adorable is that???!!!
After some beach time we headed to the grass; Lizzie had never been on grass. I was jumping up and down inside as I took the pictures of her feeling the green stuff for the first time. She had a blast, crawling around and exploring the texture. I was happy I was able to freeze that moment for mom.

in remembrance...
For me photography is very emotional; it has the ability to stir memories and feelings. On Tuesday night I had a very moving photo session, one that cemented the concept that photography is my passion.
A client contacted me asking if I could come out and take some pictures of her and her dog. Her dog was not doing well and she really wanted to capture Daisy before it was to late. Daisy is her baby; they have been together for 8 years and have a very strong bond.
As I drove in I spotted them sitting together in the field, my eyes began to fill with tears. As I walked closer to them I developed a lump in my throat. I could feel the love they had for each other. I was touched that I was able to witness this tender moment. My tears began to fall before I had 3 words out of my mouth.
The weather was perfect, the setting was relaxed. After tears, smiles and hugs I walked away with Daisy imprinted on my heart. Thank you Diana for trusting me to capture Daisy, for allowing me the pleasure of meeting your family and for letting me cry as I crawled around watching the two of you. This will be one experience that I will never forget.

too cute for words...
This was my second session for Ms. Sydney. I first met her when I did her new born photos. She was my first new born session ever. I learned so much from her and walked away with a huge smile on my face. As I drove home that day, I remember telling my self THIS is what I want to do forever - take pictures and children!!!
Walking into her home a second time was great. The atmosphere is warm and loving. Karen (mom) is down to earth, easy to talk to and fun to be around. This time around daddy was home. I had fun making them do all sorts of wacky things. All three of them did it all with a smile.
Baby Sydney is so easy going. Look at the rolls on her; how could you not fall instantly in love??? She makes me love photography a little bit more (is that possible????).
Looking forward to seeing them in 3 more months - family shots along with her 6 month session.

for micah....
A few weeks ago my dear friend Micah came up for a visit (miss you so much!). Her little Ms. Charlotte was 9 months old at the time. I couldn't resist bringing the camera out to capture her cuteness. OMG she is so precious; it was so much fun just to play with her on the floor. Baby girls really are made out of sugar and spice.
Thanks Micah for letting her be my guinea pig!

ms. kate, part two...
One of my favorite things I get to do is take pictures of adorable babies. I got lucky with Ms. Kate, I was fortunate to photograph her when is was just a few weeks old; I just finished her 3 month session.
She is so darn cute!
It was a blast to see how much she has grown and to see her little personality shining through. I have 3 more sessions lined up with her, it will be amazing to see how she grows and see her at one and walking!
I guess I am getting ahead of myself here; below are a few of my favorite's.

mr. liam, i am so sorry....
I just realized that I never posted photos of a session I did a while back (sorry).
I was lucky enough to meet this adorable little guy and his two older brothers. I love to observe families in their own elements. People are more relaxed and open. The two older boys were so sweet and pretty excited to do what I asked them to do. And sweet Liam; this little guy had the kindest soul. Babies are perfection and I love to get my hands and lens on one that is as sweet and gentle as this little guy was.
